Impactful Parents is a creative employability programme that's open to parents who live in West Lothian.

We have two groups running during the upcoming block. Group 1 will run on Wednesdays, 9:30am-2:30pm, starting Wed 28th Oct. The sessions will run in Almondbank Library, Shiel Walk, Livingston, EH54 5EH. Group 2 will run on Thursdays, 9:30am-2:30pm, starting Thu 29th Oct. The sessions will run in Reconnect Howden Park, Howden, Livingston, EH54 6AE. Both groups will run for 8 weeks and finish on December 16th & 17th respectively.

At the weekly sessions, participants will have fun trying new artistic activities, and they will also receive 1-1 support and guidance to work towards next steps in their career paths. We can help identify job opportunities, support with college applications, help with research into training programmes, and more.

One of the main positive aspects of the programme is that participants will meet like-minded people, build their social connections, and build their confidence and employability skills. As this is a programme for parents to focus on themselves, we ask that no children are brought to the sessions.

The programme is free to attend and Impact Arts will provide training subsistence at £15/session & reimbursement for travel expenses. Refreshments will also be available.

In order to sign up, parents can click our 'Join the Project' link on the project page and register their interest themselves. We will then send the registration form to the parent via email or text in order to sign them up for the course.
